Well, as this Google Analytics report shows, the initial launch of The Hall of Lame has been somewhat less than stellar. Gotta call it like I see it.

This font is about as lame as a font can get. Look how many idiots use it inappropriately:

No matter what it was originally designed for, so many people misuse it that it needs to be banned from computers going forward. Really, it’s nauseating. If you’re thinking “oh, it’s not so bad” that only means you’re one of “them” and you have no design sense whatsoever. It’s not cute, and it doesn’t make people feel like you took the time and trouble to ‘hand write’ your email. It makes you appear unprofessional, and it’s a lame font for losers.

Because he stays up all night and sleeps during the day and is really cranky if you wake him up at the unreasonable hour of 12:30 in the afternoon.
And also because he doesn’t even feign mild enthusiasm if you show him some cool website that you put together. And even if you did have to figure out some tricky things to make it all work like it’s supposed to, he’s just not even vaguely interested.

Commander-in-chief among Hall of Lame inductees is George Walker Bush, the forty-third and current president of the United States of America. His domestic approval rating has declined from 90 percent (the highest ever recorded by The Gallup Organization immediately after the September 11, 2001 attacks) to a low of 24 percent, the lowest level for any sitting president in 35 years.
Because of Bush’s systematic subversion of American democracy by usurping powers from the other branches of government through the use of “signing statements” and false constitutional arguments; for abusive executive orders that countermand standing laws and deny the 4th amendment; for violation of ratified treaties that ban torture and guarantee provisions for due process; for bankrupting the country with an illegal and unnecessary war, sold with lies and deception and for eroding the dignity, pride and integrity of America in pursuit of a private agenda at America’s expense, George Walker Bush is hereby the first nominee to the Hall of Lame.
